it just depends who is riding it and how much experience they have

 

faster is mean and even more unpredictable with both those quad when
pushing to their max limit,,,the predator seem to have only few edge with the over the top goodies on it at high speed runs like the pro steering wich help a lot and the anti-dive thing too,those design give "faster"
abilities at top end but,raptor have a pretty detuned unit in stock trim,but raptor frame is not as good like the pred.
i known a buddy that fell very comfortable on his pred and fully use his
gearbox out and have no problem racing 660r and pass them on top.

 

I used to have a raptor it was all stock. I never lost to a stock predator I even beat a few with the pure polaris slip-on.

actually the raptor weights more when gas oil coolant and all that good stuff is added.... dont ask me how... but it is... raptor comes in at like 450 somthing and the pred is at like 440

 

 

Stock vs stock, I hear the predator is faster. I not sure, but the raptor is a single overhead came and the predator is a dual overhead cam. Does that make the predator faster?

 

Hozed if they weight the same but the pred supposedly has 42 hp stock and the rap has 36 why is it that they are pretty even stock?? I'm not questioning wether what you said is correct or not i'm just trying to figure it out.

 

the pred doesnt have 42 stock... more like 38-39.
HP doesnt make speed.
take the 2 quads on a track and you will see the pred shine VS the raptor. it has more hit out of the corners and turns like a dream compared to a raptor.
