I used regular "aluminum" color spray paint on my stock exhaust and it only burnt off at the head pipe, the rest was fine but mud did stain it. Since I have bought the high temp from Walmart and then the ceramic coated HPD trail pipe.

 

offrdr15 it prob did that because ur running lean wich would make it hotter or u used the 500 degree paint
