I own a 2000 TRAIL BLAZER and plan on putting it in the Cycle Trader this week. I need to clean it up a little before I sell it. Anybody know good safe way to clean up the plastic? I live in West Georgia-where the dirt is good ole GA red clay. The White has a slight orange tint to it and I would like to try and make it look better before selling it...........

To clean the plastic, use water with a good detergent such as simple green. This should get the Georgia clay off. Then use Armoral or Son of a Gun to shine the plastic up. This is the simplest and safest way to get it clean.

Clindst : Gasoline is not safe to clean anything. I know you are young, so heed all warnings. Gasoline should be repected and not used as a general cleaning agent. Put it into the tank and the tank only.

Blazer,
Believe it or not... its a lot easier than it seems...
My son has a Honda XR-80R dirtbike with the while plastic. The EASIEST thing to use is some Soft Scrub with Bleach. Wet the plastic down, put a little on a plastic scrub brush, and apply and rinse off...
The plastic is WHITE and shines like new!!...

Have you tried the 2001 car polish (comes in a bright green bottle)? I know it works good for getting the dirt out of the scratches. I don't see why it wouldn't work. Just put it on like you would on a car.

MOP& glow is hard to beat you may have to put several coats on just wait between coats for it to dry.First couple look terrible then it begins to shape up.CM
