Castrol Super Clean seems to work pretty good for cleaning. When you have it all cleaned up I use a foam pad polisher/buffer and glaze to restore the shine. It won't get rid of scratches, but it cleans it up very well.

The "front" fenders on our 400SS is the "original" plastic from 1996. The rear fenders are new. You can check it out on our site, it looks brand new.

If you have any areas with excessive grease. Buy a bottle of Grease Lightning, it works great to clean the engine. Use in a well ventilated area. You can buy it a Sam's Club in GA.
