Default stumbling scrambler

while riding today, i noticed that my 500 scrambler is stumbling and sputtering when i land from a jump. as soon as i land, and hit the gas, it just doesnt want to go for a split second, sputter, but then it will take off.

does this happen to anyone else with the 500? any one know what this could be?

i am thinking right now that there might be some dirt in the carb or something. i havent torn into it yet, but i just wanted to ask around before i do.

lemme know,

X

It could be the gas line. You may want to check it out. Hope you find out what the problem is.

Good luck!!!!!!

Its starving for gas somewhere. Check you fuel lines like mentioned and your fuel filter. I would recommend replacing the fuel filter with one of those clear re-useable filters from your local auto parts store. That way, you can see what kinda crap you got in the filter and lines

I had similar problems when landing from big jumps and found that a vent line was kinked a little. It doesn't take much to do this. When unkinked the problem went away.
