I ended up finding the carb loose easyfix just slipped it back on and tightened the clamp. there is a rubber boot between your carb and intake I guess when it back fired it blew this boot off. After talking to the dealer this is not uncommon.

 

alot of pressure when one of these backfire for sure. could slpit the exhuast as well.

 

I had the same thing happen to a KTM 620 I used to ride.
