42 on trinity's dyno.. kinda optimistic. They also claimed 65 hp from their 686 raptor kit.

I think im startin to come around as i read posts on the Preadator...i really didnt like it at first, but now as i am Selling my Z400 for a better race bike...i am actually considering a predator as another HairScramble/CrossCountry quad...no YFZ or TRX...just not my style!

Many people look past the predator because of the name (Polaris) that comes with it. Trust me take one for a ride and you will fall in love it.

i know, i will get my opportunity soon, but i have high expectations just from haveing a highly modified raptor...but i know that i could do the same for the predator...there is an aftermarket somewhat similar to how Yamaha makes there GYT-R parts...Polaris makes Factory Performance as well....

I guess im sorta wonderin already if there "Factory" performance parts are any good...how do they compare to aftermarket...this i am refering to the exhaust system.

I hear that the white bros/pure polaris is a pretty good system. I REALLY like my hmf. I came from a Raptor to a Pred, so I can give ya first hand experience. With the exception of reverse(since, well, I don't have it now ) I'm happier with the Pred in every catagory. It has a faster reving motor, more "snap" to the feeling of the power, the suspension has MUCH more possibilties, and (in my opinion) there is no comparison in the handling. The Pred handles WAY better.

The two biggest things I can complain about is that the front shocks could be alittle plusher(by no means unbearable though), and the seat has this stupid dip right at the front that makes you slide to the tank unless you make a thoughtfull effort to keep back.

Its a great machine, and as trailrider500 said, many people under estimate it.

the factory polaris exhaust for the predator has been engineered by
white brother,quality is there.
the pred is between a race bred quad and a all out off road racer.
