I remember a topic awhile back about front springs for the polaris that were a little more heavy duty. In fact one person even posted the polaris part no. for the springs and the price. I wanted to know if anyone has bought them? and if they made that big of a difference? The reason I ask is because I will be putting a snow plow on this fall and thought that I might need a little more front end lift.

Well I bought from high lifter. The progressive lift heavy duty front springs with cams.

They were heavy duty springs but not from polaris.

It would seem possible that maybe they should sell
just the cams that should work ok with your stock springs. I dont think they do it that way. Its too
bad that you can't get just the cams. The setup did the job though, but cost about 150 dollars.

I just had them installed on my Xplorer and the front end is 100% better now. The added weight of the winch plus the big tires made it drop hard in ruts. With the new springs...no more rubbing. The ride seems to have improved also. It bounces a bit more in the back because I added the stiffer spring there too. Look at the thread " Xplor needs tire help!!!" and the parts no. is there.

It is worth it for the small price they cost.

This may be an old number, but try part #7041450-067. That's a 101lb/in compared to the stock 64/113 lb/in. progressive spring.
I installed them on my SP500 with winch, bumper, and bigger tires and they work great. No more dipping in hard turns or bottoming out in holes or wheelies.
Only one word of caution. I did a full gainer on mine on the first ride out on a hill with a lip at the top...it popped up much quicker than I had been used to. Just something to keep in mind 'til you're used to them.
