with the 2001's not far away and the HO SP500 in the line-up, you might have to practically give it away. Best thing to do is look locally to see what people are asking for them. Around here it seems to be 5800-6300. but i was at another dealer he had a brand new Yellow, Silver and Red one for 5999.00 each.

 

Heck if i can get 5500.00 out of my 2000 yellow sp 500 with winch and 26" mudunners and K&N filter i would be real happy not flipped or trashed maybe it might have 400 miles on it.

 

Ok PolarisMan today I saw a 1998 SP500 in GREAT condition looks new and it was selling for 1800!

this isnt like a car...ATVs take a beating.....

They depreciate like no other... this is a polaris remember a honda can hold its value somewhat...I am now doubting that you will get 5G for it....

You automatically lost around 1000 dollars the minute you drove it off the showroom floor.Last Wk,I sold my 99 500cc Sportsman for 5800,and I think I was damn lucky to get that.I let it go with the plow, Mudrunner tires,and clutch kit at that price.Best of luck====Bill

1800.00 for 98 clean 500SP,get me some of what that boy is smokeing!!!!!Bill I sold 99 for 5900.00 and no extras gave 6200 no tax.I still have the winch and have it installed on 00 SP.CM
