polaris predator with reverse
Other than someone who knows someone that their father's sister's 2nd cousin on their mom's side says they've seen the 05's. In other words, no one that can prove 100% is talking. Saw a post in another forum where a guy has a question about his 05 Scrambler. Yeah, like where is it.

I think we will see some big changes for the Predator in '05. My guess is lighter, reverse, and a 450 class. The YFZ is kicking tail both on the track and in the showroom. The New Predator has got to compete head to head with it if they expect to sell any.
The Predator concept is right on. No need to add wider axles and A-arms, buy it and go. But resleeving and/or destroking the engine and losing 40 lbs is a lot harder than changing tires, a-arms and axle. Right idea, wrong equipment. The New Predator needs to be more race ready than the YFZ.
We may see several versions of the new Predators, and not just cosmetics like the Troy Lee and Dale Jr. The biggest surprise of all could be keeping the current Predator as a big bore desert racer
with some extra muscle to go head to head with the DS and Raptor. Like a 600cc.
I really, really hope they come out with a 300 cc flyweight Predator for the new ATVA racing class. Having a potent weapon in the new Blaster class would do a lot for brand image and brand loyalty.
It would also help dispel the nonsense that you need to be 16 to ride over 90 cc.
So where are they going to get a lightweight, smokin' hot 300cc DOHC six-speed motor?
Hmmmm RMZ-250 motor would rule the new class......

well boys, it's now safe to say the predator has reverse because, IT DOES i read it on the site today, i have been waiting & waiting for the 2005 predtor, hopefully in 2-3 months i'm gonna be buying a brad new on off the showroom floor, it's only 415, vrs. 461 lbs, has reverse & comes in a badass red & black fender, best one yet i'd say, because i'm not a motocross guy, but now it can blast the trails plus navigate new terrain, hope this helps, i can't wait.
