After almost seven months I am still sold on Polaris

I have been riding Yamahas, Honda and Kawasaki’s for several years but never a Polaris. Manly because you don’t have any power or speed. Well in November, I broke my ankle and leg and I no longer can use the shifter on my Yamaha. I bought a Polaris in January and have put it through the test and I am shocked by the performance of my bike.

I too drove Yamaha and Honda since 1986, but after seeing my friends good ride and awesome auto tranny's , I had to try one. bought a 2000 early release Xplorer 250 4x4 last fall, loved it! Traded it this May on a 2000 SP500 and wow what a machine. So far the SP is my Favorite atv that I have owned. It is all the things I thought other atv's lacked. good ride, good 4x4 system, able to ride 2 people( confortably) , because of the roomy and large comfy seat. I also thought auto tranny's are the way to go like snowmobiles, no hassles with shifting. I was alwasy disappointed riding my other atv's for the above reasons it is why I sold my last one before the Polaris's. Rode rough, no power, Crappy 4x4 system. The last one I had you would have been better of to by the 2 wheel drive version and put killer tires on the back.
Polaris makes fun atv's. lately I wont trade and ride others manufacturers they don't compare.

It seems that the only people who dislike Polaris are those who never mounted one! From my first I loved em... the only other brand that would interest me now, is maybe a new high performance sport machine from yamaha, the Raptor. As for Utility, I am sticking with the best...
