Default Sportsman frame crack

I don't think a cracked frame is the norm by any means. I think it takes some pretty good jolts to do it. I am also thinking more people have cracked frames and just don't know it. When you work with metal a lot like I do I think I just focus in on the metal frame when I am working on my quad. I ride my quads harder than most guys I bet and I have learned where they break and have reinforced those points on my latest quad and so far so good. I think Polaris has chosen to use square tubing for a manufacturing reason. Just weld front and back and move on to the next weld. On round tubing you would have to weld all the way around the tubing to make it look decent which would take more time.
