I just bought my first polaris. It is definetly not my kx 250 but it was kind of fun to ride so i said why not.

This thing needs alot more power, to me it feels like It takes forever just to reach smile on your face speeds. So I was wondring what you guys recommend?

In a best for your money order to please because i am definetly on limited funds. Also I have a few questions too if anyone can answer them?

I know its an auto but how many speeds does it have...3?

How do you change the clutch fluid and how often should I change it? (what is that yellow dipstick and can you just pull it out?)

What screws do what on the carb, I would like to adjust it myself?

Where is the oil injection system and the oil filter?

What do you recommend to keep this thing running good?

Thanks, NEWBIE

hey, just read your post, and thought i would comment.....i think you ought to go down to your
dealer and get an owner's/service manual for that thing....i am NOT trying to be smart, or anything...the manual just tells a lot you ought
to know...
i think an aaen pipe and silencer + rcr clutch kit+air box mod would help!

The RcR air-box mod is a good start, although you could make it yourself from a piece of PVC and save yourself $35. RcR clutch kit only consists of a plain HPD spring, you wont get the full potential that your clutch has to offer. Get an HPD pipe/silencer combo, top it off with thier recomended clutch kit, add the air-box mod and a Uni-Filter, and you will have to peel the smile off your face when you are done riding. As for the rest of the info you are looking for, most of it should be in your owners manual.
