I love my xpedition 425 cc 5-speed just fine. I have 1,000 miles on it now. I have had some minor problems with it. You may not since some of it was
just bad parts sold to polaris. They got rid of them. I have never had to walk out of the deep woods. My xpeditions top speed is about 55 mph. It
is tough in the woods and thats what I like. I even had 1 or 2 small problems that just went away on there own as I broke in the atv.
rangerchet, 2000 polaris xpedition 425 cc 5-speed.
26 inch mudbugs by maxxis with itp magnum billet aluminum rims. Progressive lift heavy duty front springs/cams package. Front and rear 2-bar bumpers. 2000 lb. warn. winch mounted in front. Short extender bar on the front rack. 2 gun, gun mount, mounted on that. Tall extender bar on the rear storage rack. Tamarrack utility box fits nicely inside the rack. Extended mud skirts. K&N air filter.
ps: on lurch's atv central website above you can see a picture of it. chet lakes xpedition....

I also have over 1000 miles on mine and the problems have been minimal. Mine has suffered the usual Polaris shortcomings....premature brake and tie rod end wear, all other problems were self inflicted. I will definitely say the engine and drivetrain have performed flawlessly. This is one tough quad!
you can see pics of it in the link below and as youll see, I havent "babied" mine either!
