New advice in best Polaris to buy
I am looking for a good all around trail/dune/off road quad. We ride in a mix of trails, sand and mud. My buddy has a 660Griz that is phenomenal, everyone else I ride with rides Hondas. I want to be different and buy American. I am not that fond of the Predator, I have raced them on a stock 400ex and kicked ***, I dont want to discount polaris, someone give me a reason to buy one!

No, I did not "kill" the predator, but I beat him consistently, the only mods on the 400 were an Edelbrock Carb and Yosh pipe. I want a good cross between a sport and utility. something 4x but that can be easily modded to pack some power. I am not interested in being the fastest on the block but I want to surprise people I race against. I dont mind buying a good used ATV

Sounds like you are leaning more towards a sport quad. A good quad that'll give the best of both worlds is the Kaw Prairie 700. It is a rocket ship on wheels. I have yet to see the new BF. Time will tell.
Don't discount the Pred. With equal riders, it'll kill the 400ex. I've seen it many times.

Sounds more like you would be in the market for the Scrambler 500 4x4. Half sport and half utility. But I would wait until Polaris unvails their new products next week. They got something cookin
