i have a 2000 trailboss
aeen muffler
dynojet jet kit 160 mainjet
k7n filter
hsp main clutch spring

talked to rick at rcr he told
me i needed to modify the air box
with 2 1" dia filters from him
will i see a gain in these modifications
and why cant i just drill the holes and not plug them up
i also want to go down to a 10 tooth front sprocket
and the only place i can find is a custom made on
for 40-50 dollars any other tips

Since you're already piped and jetted, it will help. It probrably was starving for air. You may or may not need to rejet, keep an eye on the plug. Got my sprocket from a Comet distributor for 15 dollars. I'll see if I can dig up the name and number.

I do rember he has stuff on Ebay. Goes by the name of Sledpartsguy. Just do a search on Polaris sprocket and he'll be the one selling chain and sprocket sets. When I get home tonight, I'll look at my receipt and get the number for you.

Got to look at my receipts. The front sprocket I got a Ronnies, price on internet was 21.95 but I called them and got it for 14.95. The rear sprocket came from Halls of Medford Wisconsin. Their phone number wasn't on the bill, but you should be able to find them at yellowpages.com. They sell complete set up (front, rear and chain). You might consider changing both, and check the chain too. Mine was missing about eight O-rings.

Just for reference, Halls of Medfod WI is Sledpartsguy on Ebay.
He is a real nice guy and can get you just about anything you want cheaply [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
