Default RACED>>>>>04' Predator vs. 04' Raptor

Well mer and my cousin finally decided to line up for a few races last night. He has a 2004 Raptor 660 and I have a 2004 Predator 500.

We first started from a slow roll in 2nd, I would pull hard on him through third and into fourth then just keep pullin. We did this about five times and basically the same result every time.

Then we went from a stop, I didnt quite pull as hard off the line on him but I still beat him everytime.

We then switched quads, and he was quite suprised at how well mine pulled. He beat me in three of 4 races.

Well there you have you guys, an unbiased comparison. Both machines are bone stock, we are very equal riders as well (though i think i can shift better.....lol)

The only thing he really has an advantage on me is playin around in the top end. And wheelies.

Thanks for the info...

The pred isn't the best quad for wheelies, but after many hours of messing around i can wheelie my pred as long as i want too in fact after lots of practice i can wheelie the pred just as good if not better then my bud can on his 440ex. Its all in the rider and finding the balance point... 2 wheels aren't a problem either.

sounds like good race results, good to see the Polaris win, though

Depending on how far I could prolly push my pred in reverse as fast as a Raptor. They dont go to fast in reverse.

The 01's do. They used 2nd gear. That's why they had so many burnt clutches.

Pipe and jet your Predator. It will wheelie 2nd gear hard with just a pull on the bars.

Ok, now that the '05's have it....
Nevermind. Wheelying in reverse would still be pretty hard.
