Default NOT A HAPPY CAMPER

Well as some of you may know my efi needs a TPS....it was supposed to be done this week.........but my dealer called and said it will be another 2 weeks at the earliest.........apparently there waiting for some special tool to calibrate the TPS......and its on back order.....

So i went and picked up because they said i can ride it, and theyve had it for over a week and half now.......so i picked it up and i called another dealer ...where i have already purchased 2 new fourwheelers and 3 new sleds....plus what my family as bought........so i asked them if they have the capabilty of replacing and calibrating this sensor, they said yes....and they were checking thier schedule.......he called back and said well IF you would have bought it from us we would have it in and out in day....since you didnt wont be able to get it in for a month......plus they were kind of refusing to work on because i didnt buy it from them......i was like because i spread my business to another dealer this how ur treating me after all these years...because i would have bought from you if you could have came close to their deal.....

so i called polaris in minnesota.....after being on hold for 15 minutes......i explained my story....and said told them i am very upset of how im being treated......i have never ran into any sorts of these problems from any polaris product.......and the way the last dealer talked to me wasnt very cool.........

so they called the dealer that had the stuff to work on it...and it goes in monday and will be done in sometime that week......

i am so upset right now.....have owned nothing but polaris because of dependability and service and just all around nicenest of the dealers........what ever happend to costumer service after the deal.......

I mean maybe im going about this all wrong.....but damn....when i worked at a gm dealer ship....we never treated the non buyers of that particular dealership any differant when they came in for service......i dont know maybe im all wrong, but it just dosent seem right to me....

yeah thats bad i mean you shouldnt even have any problems with an 04 model to start with and then on top of that you get very poor service...yeah it seems some Polaris dealers are just that way it almost seems like they dont seem to care too much if you didnt buy from them...I run into the same deal somtimes but thats how it goes...good that you did somthing about it though and mabey you can say somthing about it when you get your survey...

oh dont worry they will be hearing from me on the survey........i can honestly say i have never ever had any bad thing to say a bout a polaris machine.......yeah they may have had some small issues but usually the parts were in stock and it was done in a few hours.....or i did it my self......

i might just have to trade for the carb model.....i hate to but.....now im scared about dependibilty.......i got 580 miles on it now...whats it gonna be like when i have 2 or 3 thousand?

yeah i've learned to get the part and do it myself in your case i may have even bought the tool the dealer needed and do it myself...well just hope the problem was just a fluke and that it will run flawlessly after this...........
