The Military model must weigh 1000lbs. The 800 looks cool. I was hoping for some slimfast to be fed to the sportsman and for a new sport 4x4. Oh well. I'll try it out when the dealer gets it. I'm moving to Hawaii for work for awhile. I'll wave from the plane. Don't know if they wheel there?

Egads you guys are picky bastaaards............

"wah wah, I won't own a quad if its not offered in camo"?

Geezus guys, they just offered a TON of cool new quads......

PREDDY has reverse and ressies up front stock now.

800cc twin with dual exhaust! damnnnnnnnn.

I give a full salute and hands down praise to Polaris to step up to the plate for innovative progressive design.

WHO ELSE has added a reverse to a machine 2-3 years after release (ala preddy?) Not honda nor Yammy-haha as far as I know!

Try 760cc not 800cc.
Yes I know the decal on the side says 800. Gee why stop there. Lets call the trailblazer a 300.

There could be reason it's not bigger, like displacement laws. The Sportsman's go in 100s not 50s or 60s cc's. Thats why its a 800 and not a 760 or 750. BTW if you look you will see a lot of company's do it with some of there models. It's not the motor thats got me, its just the sound of a dual exhaust system. This new 800 is going to be one mean ATV I think....

I don't know about a "full" salute......Maybe a 3/4 salute. I would've been MUCH more impressed w/a 350-370lbs 450 full on race quad. I do think though that polaris NAILED a big part of the market square on the head. Open class big bore sized motor, race designed/inspired suspension, AND reverse. Right there goes all of honda and yamaha's sales that were on the fence on whether or not they really "needed" reverse. They listened to the general publics compliants of the race quads not having reverse and they stepped up to the plate. In that respect I am impressed.....It just would've been nice to see a full on race quad from Polaris. I guess just unfortunatley they won't ever step up to *that* plate......
