Default trailblazer 250 hard to start

Best way to find out which is best is jet it with the 160 and then run it for a bout 10 mins then pull the plug if that is too rich it will be black...so try the 150 same thing run it for like 10 mins pull the plug and check....now if it is really white go back to the 160 cause its better to be rich then lean cause lean is a blown engine...basically you want a nice brown or a little black

How much of a difference did the pipe make for your blazer?

The pipe made a really noticable difference on mid and top...low is just a tad better.....i suggest you look into at least a primary spring...cause you need to clutch it to match the new power of the pipe

I pulled the jug off yesterday & the piston & rings do not look bad at all I am however going to go ahead and bore it and go back with wiseco piston & rings . the cylinder is not bad at all no scratches, pits, etc should i just bore it 20 over or go 30? also does anyone have a formula do calculate cc after a bore job?

Mine was hard to start when it was hot too. So i tore it all down and had the top end rebuilt and got it ported while it was apart. When i put it back together i had the same problem. I finally located the problem and it was the reverse limiter box. I guess water got in it so it wouldnt work right and i wasnt able to go over 25-30 mph in forward or else it would just bog. I couldnt start it either when it was hot but now that i un plugged the box my quad runs perfect.
