My trailblazer has gotten where it is hard to start,on cold startup it starts ok but not like it should and once it heats up you might as well forget about it! I have cleaned the carb and made sure fuel is getting to it ,also have hooked up the timing light and getting fire. sometimes on a hot start i can full throttle it and after spinning it over for 10 -15 seconds it might start and it might not . this machine is all stock except for the oil injection being by passed and the oil injection port on the carb sealed any ideas?

sounds like ur piston rings are stuck

 

will it take new piston and rings or will the rings come unstuck with some help i.e. pulling off the jug?also what will cause this to happen?

Same excat problem here.....well its taken apart now piston has a hole burnt right on the side of it....you mine as well start looking into a new top end cause its just gonna get worse...its gonna come to the point that when you are riding its just going to die and you are **** out of luck cause that means top end is blown...happend to me luckily i was with a person who had a truck or else it would have been a looooong push home

 

tbsleeper you have a nice ride just checked out your pics your blaxer looks like my sport the fenders are cut just about the same.

What will cause it to run lean?

 

i know why now the peice of junk oil injection must have weakened before i blocked off and changed over to premix!!!

 

Wrong jetting....or say you take off your airbox cover and do not rejet it's gettin more air but still the same gas as stock...when you re jet you let more gas flow for the added air flow you are letting into the engine

 

ok i just bought an hpd trail pipe off of ebay plus two jets a 150 and 160 which jet will be the best one to use after i do the top end job on my blazer?
