Silverado: Best you sell it out right. I would guess about $4900-5200. I know its hard for a dealer to sell a used ATV that is over the $5000 mark because there is so many new ones available at that price. I'm selling my "97" in favor of a new HO or the rumored 700 in a couple months and I will have the same problem.

The new SP is still a 700-lb. tank and therefore you will not experience ***-sliding neck breaking acceleration. It will however move along very nicely with good acceleration and in low range (hard on the gas) the front wheels will paw the air.

Yeah in low range i can get 1-2 off the ground, wheely. My friends moto is "Wheelie King" and he stood it up on the racks!!!!!! And get this it is completely stock, well besides the camo MUD shock covers. But i really doubt that that helps it THAT much, maybe just a little bit.?

Watch yourself buddy. Make sure you check the trade difference on your 96. They guy could always be giving you $4000 for yours, and then charging you the MSRP of $6999 for the new one. Make him come down on the price and then see if he still gives you 4 grand for the older model. If thats the case, it looks like a pretty good trade in.
