RCR stage one kit
I gonna try and put my stage 1 kit on today and was wondering how hard it is to get the carb off to change the jet?
Also is there any tips or tricks I should know?
I don't have a service manual, but I downloaded and printed the exploded views of the clutch and carb from polaris.
Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Troy

I got everything on alright, seems to have a lot more speed.
The only thing I don't like is it seems a little sluggish on the bottom end. You have to get rolling a little(5mph) before it really picks up, and you have to give it a lot more throttle to get it moving.
I don't know if my wife will like it because we do a lot of trail riding in and out of creeks, small hills etc.
I was wondering, if I put the stock spring back in the clutch, would that get it rolling a little sooner?
Also the pipe keeps the pullstart boot from going over the hole. Is this normal or did I do something wrong.
Thanks for the help

With the heavier spring the rpms need to be higher before it launches, mines quick off the line. The t-handle should clear without a problem especially if its length wise front to back, check the location of the pipe / silencer as someone else had a clearance problem similar not too long ago.
