I had that happen to me a couple times on my 700 only it was the key chain (holder)hanging up on hard turns. I was dumbfounded the first couple times!

 

mine did the stupid hey chain thing to me a few time also...I removed the dealer key chain[doh] and never had the key turned back on it own since! although this didnt sound like your problem...

The stock reeds very seldom go out.It will run like crap just about all the time if it is the reeds.I have broken quiet a few of the v-force reeds.I have never broken the stock ones ,yet.

 

I'm really stumped at what it could be maybe a wire is cracked somewhere?

 

What does your plug look like when this happens ?

Will it only do it at wot,or does it happen just cruising around.

 

it did it a few times just cruising around at half throttle but the majority of the time was when i was cruising around shortly after a drag race.

 

I know some of the older PWK carbs had a brass rod in the bowl.check and make sure you don't have this brass rod sticking out in the bowl of the carb.What was happening was when you would run at full throttle the carb would run out of gas.If yours is in there ,just grab it with a pair if pliers and pull it out.
