but how would it be in that cover?? look at 19 and 16 it went down there

plus it wouldnt sound liek that on plastic...cuz it sounds liek if u take a nut put it in a can and shake it but alot faster

that air duct goes onto the case,its open on that end of the case,the backside of the clutch cover goes around the open end of the case.thats how it would get into the clutch cover

TB stop and listen for a second. The only way a bolt or nut can actually get into where your crankshaft is would be through the carb or the exhaust. The cavity for the cooling system is cast into the side of the crankcase, but it is on the outside. You do need to pull the outer clutch cover and fish out the bolt. It got against the primary clutch and was banging around. It's not as bad as you think, but you do need to pull the clutch cover and get it out.

the nut must be bouncing off the primary clutch..

DEEP BREATH...alright i ordered clutch springs so im gonna be in that area soon anyway so i will do it then cuz im going on vacation.

I don't know why i thought it was a 400, any ways go to ronnies.com and look up the the diagram of the clutch cover. It may help you find were the nut is. I think it maybe sitting in the very bottom of the plastic duct # 19 on the diagram, Or #16 on your diagram.
