hey guys i was wondering if anyone could help me out,my 500 has 1200 miles on it now and i used to be able to get 58 mph now the best it does is 55mph. i was wondering if the belt would cause the speed loss? it still was tons of low end.how long should the belt last?

 

3 mph is not that big of differnce. You also have tire wear that maybe affecting this, dirty clutches, dirty air filter and yes maybe a little belt wear. I would just ride it.
