Bought mine for $6900, including winch promotion, and 25% off any accessories that day. Great Machine so far - great rock crawler, mudder, etc.
BUT, being a so-called 2001 model, I don't like the fact that isn't an HO, doesn't have the stainless brake lines and does not have the new master cylinder.

Camo is doing well so far - been in South Texas quite a bit with black brush & lots of mesquite. No big scratches & Slime is working great in the tires. The underside of the fenders had a thin coat of light of brown overspray on them, don't know what part of the process that is from, but it flakes off pretty easy, but doesn't affect the top side.
After hunting season this year, I'll see if any camo is left.

hey man, don't let that dude screw you on your quad. You can get more out of it than that. I see that you are in Marion. I don't know what the dealers will want for a new HO sportsman, but get on the website and get some phone numbers from other places in the state. Wheeler motorsports in Ft. Smith had 2000 models for $6049 about three months ago. I bet they would jack up the price on the new one though, because a year ago they were like $6600 for the Sportsman. (I flipped out when I saw that they had lowered their price so much).
Williams Ford Tractor in Fayetteville probably won't jack up the price that much on the HO model when it comes in. They are generally consistent with their prices. Normally around $6200- $6300 for the sportsman when the others wanted over $6500. If you get serious, you might give these places a call and get some prices.
