does a silencer with a stock pipe do anything for performance or is it just for noise?

Yea, they do help with a little bit. I noticed a little bit of a difference when I slapped the wb on the scrambler and it sounds better now[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]. It also helps you loose afew pounds.
