Finally someone with a DG pipe.
I'm just curious of the fit of the DG pipe to your 97 sport, which I have read about in one of your latest post.

How long have you had the pipe, if you don't mind me asking and did you install it yourself.

Thanks for the info from your latest post and I hope to see more. Rictor

It took about 1 hour total, fit is good, it fits tight under the plastic leg guard but has not melted the plastic at all. Ive had it for 2.5 months. performance is very good with this pipe and my other modifications. You dont have to take the plastic completely off just loosen it from the foot boards. mount the silencer first. it fits perfectly, then mount the headpipe flange, use loc-tite on the nuts. then mount the pipe onto the flange and push into silencer. Put the springs back on and your done. I rejetted to a 260 main with my mods and probably will go to 270 if I do any more porting. The hardest part of the install is putting springs on and off. I reccomend needle nose vise grips if you dont have a spring tool. If you have questions on jetting just ask me. Im here sometimes, but mostly in the yamaha forum.
