Recently my cooling fan "fell" off my 98 500 SP. Later inspection showed there was small cracks radiating from the center of the fan. Has anyone had or heard of something like this happening??

This is not uncommon in all "blade" type fans, anytime you get alot of use or a slight out of balance fan will have these cracks start showing up.

Duh! Sorry guys I was thinking of the motor rather than the fan blade. I lost an aluminum blade myself on the '95 Sportsman.
