Default Predator Plastic

I have a 2003 TLD Predator, and I've never had to remove the front plastic. The main plastic removal is straightforward, just some torx bolts, but how, for the life of me, do I get the Predator nosepiece cover off to access the 2 bolts in front of the steering column? I don't want to break the plastic, but I've tried prying, and it just doesn't work....I'm sure many of you have successfully removed this...what's the trick?

Thanks for your help!

The easiest way would be to just remove the whole front clip. I understand the piece you are referring to, and I have also been concerned of breaking it. It "snaps" into the front clip, and should be able to be pryed off, but I'd find it safer to just remove the whole front clip. As you said just the main torx bolt in the center of the clip at the top, and the two smaller torxs on the left and right of the nose tip, and it'll be off. By the front clip, do you mean the front fenders? If so, I still need to get the nosepiece off, because there are 2 bolts underneath the nosepiece that anchor the front fender assembly to the bike. The way I see it, I still need to find a way to get the nosepiece off to access these bolts. Am I missing something?

Thanks for your reply.

Yeah your missing something.

lol. The two other bolts that hold the front clip/fenders(depending on what you wanna call it) Are at the front of the clip about 3-5 inches above the "point" at the bottom of the clip/fenders. I all comes off as one unit.

There are only 3 bolts(torx) that hold the whole front plastic(clip) on. One in the center near the top You can acess this through the hole/space at the top of the plastic inbetween the "eyes", and the other two are where I mentioned in the above response. Just look where the little "polaris" lettering is on the clip at the bottom. Should be right underneath that. One on each side.
