i recently bought a hpd pipe and clutch kit, installed it and did'nt like the engagement of the clutch,so i took the kit totally out and am running the pipe w\o no clutching mods.will this hurt my clutches or belt?anyone with a idea of what spring i should put in?i don't want a high engagement, but want to get the most out of pipe....any help would be great
Anybody interested in a hpd clutch kit(cheap)?

You really need the kit to get the most out of the pipe. you could leave the weights and secondary spring from the clutch kit and just buy a different primary so that it engages higher than stock but not as high as the one that came with the kit.

You need to make up your mind if you want a stock polaris are a high performance polaris if you want stock remove the hpd clutch kit and the pipe because it wont run right without the clutch kit and if you want stock go with the stock pipe and clutch.
The only way to get the most out of your HPD pipe is to run the clutch kit that was made for it

Call Darell at HPD, he will be more than happy to tell you which springs and weights are needed to reach your desired engagement RPM. These clutch kits are highly tunable.
