Where can I find a bushing puller to pull the bushings in my starter on my 250 Trailblazer? I have one that is 3/8" I.D. and one that is 1/2" I.D. to pull out so I can install the new ones. I have looked to no avail. The closet thing I can find is a Throw-out bushing puller. Too big for my starter.

 

Is the bushing available without buying the end piece ? (cover)

Talk to my old buddy Elwood Stocker at Stocker Starters (1-800stocker???) He will know exactly what to do .

buy a slidehammer /dentpuller. get the one with all the attachments for pulling things like bushings. also if you can cut a slot in the bushing it will collapse in and come out really easy.
