SP335 Speedo not working
#2
Blades: Not much you can do. I experienced the same problem on my Magnum. Sometimes the key chain gets caught between the gas tank on a tight turn. This turns your key to "almost off" which is the cause of your spedometer not working. This is a common problem with Polaris. Make sure you get a new assembly and if you have a key chain on your key. Take it off.

SP335's speedometers have the old style mechanical drive. On the left rear of the trans case you will see the speedo drive, Remove the three nuts that sucure it to the housing. You will probably find that the short drive key(1 in. long) is broke. Check and make sure that the whole drive isnt froze up (mine was).Don't forget to take out the broken piece in the drive assy' before you replace the short drive key.
