hey Rick, I dont have one personally, but I work for a dealer and we have 2 500 ho demos.

Ive put about 250 miles one each, and are both exacly the same. they feel that there is a bit more power in them as aposed to the 04.5s that we had before. WWWWWAAAAAAAAAYYYY better ride than the 04.5s . more responsive off the line than theold.
tires are great for stockers, same fuel economy, twice the bike in the mud(more ground clearence) and a clean rider.Great features. sealed front cargo keeps the beers cold. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
good luck, great choice. Go for the mozzy oak color, verry durable, and doent scratch hardly at all.

I was considering a 2004.5, what makes the ride on the 2005 wayyyyyy better?

Also, someone in another forum said the seat on the 2005 is softer, is that true?

Any other ride impression opinions are appreciated.

I think that price on a 2005 is great.

 

just got a Fax last night. $6080 OTD in AZ. $6000 for the bike and$80 for DOC
Not bad since she quoted me 6325 at first. I WILL be picking it up Thursda night

I'm heading to Havasu to pick up my 05 sp 500 ho this Friday.
Going to ride all weekend with the wife. Maybe I'll get her a new ride this week also.
The Polaris place in the havasu is going to give us 0% on the 05!
