Default polaris personal watercraft to fold

Just saw that Polaris will immediatly cease production of personal watercraft in order to concentrate more fully on ATVs, snowmobiles, and Victory road motorcycles.

Bad news. My brother has their biggest watersled. Great machine! This is indeed a sad day.

Didn't their msx lineup just win the watercraft of the year last year? This stinks for their jet-ski's, but I wonder how this will effect their atv lineup. Do you guys think that this will mean even more changes and models to polaris's atv lineup?

With my personal experience of their poor initial customer service at the corporate level, their poor support of dealers trying to resolve problems with faulty product, it is no wonder that they lost their place in the market. They finally acknowledged that they were wrong after my second season with my boat in the shop and gave me two free years of warranty.

Ron Bills, (POLARIS HQ) You had this coming!

Could be a smart move as long as they support the PWCs that they have allready sold in the past. My guess is they are trying to be first to jump off the sinking PWC ship.

I dont think that the PWC's are all that great, Well...they are great fun but yet I just think that they dont serve alot of purpose...but then again I am from minnesota so there for we only have open water for like what 6 months lol. I am glad that polaris is droping the PWC line...hopefully with the extra money they will build a 700 manual scrammy

I have a friend with a polaris pwc who was verry unhappy to get this news. He is currently trying to sell his ski and this can't help the resale value of it.

By the way I have ridden his ski and it was great!!

PWC's are ok if they have some respect for people trying to fish, and not zooming around to close to your boat. Kind of hard to still fish when they are making waves and rocking your boat. It happened to me and a friend fishing last weekend. All it takes is a few inconsiderate people that think they own the whole lake and ruin it for everyone else.
