Default Dumb ?????

Seems like there are a lot of youngsters on this forum. But I have a question. Is it unreasonable to add a horn to a ATV. Guess I've been riding motorcycles to long. I would like a horn on my new Sportsman 500HO. Why don't ATV's come with one? How could you add one? Is there a kit for something like that?

Added one to mine. Very easy to do. I used a GM replacement horn from Napa ($12) and have it wired so that my reverse override button is now my horn button (my reverse override is overridden). Surprises the heck out of people when you come up behind them

buy a cheap universal horn kit from the parts store. like autozone, napa, carquest or advance auto parts. probably under $15.00 and wire negative to a ground or to the battery. then wire the positive to the battery or a power wire with a pushbutton contact switch in between the horn and battery positive source. this way power is only engaged to horn when you use your finger to push the button down.

Yeh, the V Force has wires routed for the horn option.
