I run the same set up on my scrammy and thought the same thing. Come to find out that it is normal, a free flowing exhaust will do that. As far as gas mileage goes.............who cares, bring more with you. Ride hard and fast!

Mine, I wouldn't say is a really loud bang, but more like a slight exageratd popping.

Ok Mr. Smarty pants Hozed!!!!!! how do we go about getting rid of it? Or properly tuning it as you say?!?!

mine sometimes pops when i let off the gas too, but not all the time and not very loud... just like a small fart...
if it keeps popping that can mean both rich or lean... with my pred the loud bang was lean... with my 450 the pops were too rich.

The 160 main jet is about right .

To fix a pop on decelleration turn the mixture screw outward til it quits doing it . A half to a full turn out should be expected .

Rick Ritter

PS . Stock or slightly bigger pilot jet should be about right .

What! You didn't like the hello Kitty headlight!? I though the Britney Spears stickers were a nice touch. A Bit of color and sex appeal never hurt

Thank you Rick. See, nobody should listen to Hozed. J/K I might add that once I installed the HPD airbox mod, any popping that I had went away.
