I have a client that does powder coating ... it's a real science ... better to go for a pro shop. They powder coated my 8 year old rusty trailer … WOW it looks like new … but there are so many different types of powder and ways they can apply it … you need someone that know what they are doing.
What did it cost you to have your trailer powder coated? What kind of prep work did you have to do? I got a boat trailer that's looking pretty sad right now.

They did it for free, but i didn't get to pick the color or when i was going to get it back. It took them about 2 weeks to get it done. The only prep i did was to remove all the parts that couldn't handle 400 degs for 2 hours (the baking process). They did the rest.

Sounds like a good combo. Can you get candy colors?
