Now you made me laugh. The shocks are nothing like the YFZ. Polaris never pays attention to matching front shock absorber performance or even manufacturer in comparison to the rears. They do good at handling terrain erraticly and trying to swap ends.

The Pred does make ok power but is not quicker than the YFZ. They also add strong axles and braided brake lines which is pretty cool.

 

Thank you for the welcome. I may not post much, but I will definitely be reading the established rider's posts. I was considering the YFZ, but considering price and performance, I went with the Pred. I have DG Fat nerf bars on the way, and I am thinking about a Motion Pro twist throttle kit.

I didn't say it would out jump...I said that the Predator handles as good as a YFZ.......the 05 TLD has revalued aluminum shocks and a lower gear ratio...it probably will out handle the YFZ in the corners and on the trail....Have you even been on a Predator, or are you talking out of your a$$ like every other loud mouth Yamafail rider I know....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
