LOL...yep, that's about what I expected to hear. Oh well, I didn't want to have to drive all the way up there to pick up that sweet ride of yours anyway. Let us all know what you end up doing for your project, I'm interested. Good luck on your grade too.

Brad, no problem at all. I am licensed in California as a Civil Engineer but I only practice structural engineering. I am a design engineer for a small consulting firm. We are typically hired by architects, contractors, and sometimes by the owners directly. As for licensing, it varies from state to state. Here in California you are required to graduate from an ABET accredited 4-year college...though it usually ends up being more like 5-years. Once that is achieved, you need to aquire at least 2-years of actual engineering experience by working for a licensed engineer and performing desing work or whatever else may qualify for "actual" experiece. Upon completion of your 2-years experience you can "apply" to take your exam license. You need to have at least three professional references at that point. The California exam is 2-days long and consists of three parts and all must be passed before you get your license. Day 1 is an 8-hour National exam. Day 2 is a 3.5-hour special seismic exam and a 3.5-hour surveying exam. The pass rate varies but it is not usually very high. As for income, I'll PM you on that one.

The braking system could use some serious improvement, master cylinders, calipers, pads, rotors......reduced drag, noise...

I have a suggestion; try and redesign the chain rollers so when your decelerating it won't make that winding down noise.

predator2......I am not really sure what you are talking about, but when I get home, I'll ride and listen/look to see if I can see what you are talking about. I think I know what you mean, but I always thought that was comming from the gearcase......
