330 Magnum hard to start
Hello guys:
I have a 330 Magnum and it is hard to start. I choke it and get it to start, then reduce choke but no matter what I do, it takes about 5 minutes to warm up. Until then, it stalls at least a few times and I keep having to rev it up. Any ideas as to what's wrong or is this normal? Thanks for the help.

Had the same problem with mine also. I still have to choke it some but I called the dealer and they suggested adjusting the ETC switch on the handlebar. It acted alot better after being adjusted. It ran good afterwards. It always did run good after being warmed up.

Does it run ok when warm? Does it start ok warm? If its better when warm the idle mixture may be too lean. Try turning the mixture screw out 1/4 to 1/2 turn.
It wont hurt to leave the 'choke ' on. Its really an enrichener jet, and if the motor needs it on to run for the first few minutes, its not gonna hurt anything.
