Default Trailblazer 250 Spring Help

My friend has a 2003 Trailblazer 250. He has put a DG pipe on it...but nothing else.

My question is....:

From what I understand...the stock primary spring on a Trailblazer 250 is like 40/120. I have a spring in my V-Force that is an EPI Pink rated 0/161 I believe. My buddy wants to get far less stall on his 250...so I thought I would just swap out my spring with him to see how it would run. Is there any reason NOT to do this?

Thanks for your input....

Default Trailblazer 250 Spring Help

Is there any reason that putting my spring (0/161) in there would hurt his atv at all (mechanically)....I don't know of any reason...but just asking here just in case you guys know something I don't about Polaris clutch systems.... Is a -0- stall O/K to run in these systems...All of the springs I see recommended for the 250(s) seem to be a much higher stall than I am accustomed to seeing.

I have to say from using a DG exhaust before that he'd be better off putting the stock pipe back on or getting a pipe from someone that knows polaris. If he cant afford a new exhaust just put the stock one back on. I have a polaris plain spring that worked great for me when my TB was stock. If he wants the spring just PM me about it.

Are you saying this B/C you were not pleased w/ the DG exhaust? Why?
Also...what is the STALL/SHIFTOUT on the Polaris Plain?

What everyone here is trying to tell you is the DG pipe is JUNK!!!!!!!There is no way to correctly tune the clutch to the pipe because you cant find out the opperating RPMs of the pipe.On a 2stroke Polaris you need the engagment RPM and shiftout to get it to the pipes RPM range as quickly as possible. If he wants to keep the DG pipe tell him to go to a Polaris dealer and order a White primary spring(it will look plain but have white paint on the end)It will work ok with a DG but even better with the stock exhaust.
