Default Hot Seat Suspension Springs???

Hey guys,
I was wonderring if anyone had tried the dual rate, progressive springs that hot seat is offering. I was wonderring what sort of a differance it would make on a sachs-front '02 Scrambler X. really only want the fronts right now... i'm racing motocross w/ guys on Z-400s, wariors, raptor 350s, and one new YFZ 450. I'm winning currently... but beating the hell out of my self to do it, and i'd like it if these would improve the ride enough to make the difference... your thoughs would be appreciated. ALSO: someone once told me you can dump near 20 lbs by cuttign unnecessary mounting hardware from a scramblers frame, such as those for racks, or 2 stroke injector oil tank, any truth to this? if yes, we'll be getting out the wheel t'night thanks for the feedback.

This is probably going to make you mad....but if you are a big racer, why not just sell the scrammy and get an 03 pred(they are selling for about 3800)??? They will treat you a lot better, and you can keep up way better......

Default Hot Seat Suspension Springs???

I was planning on getting an '05 pred next winter. as it stands, i'm paying on a new truck. I was just thinking until then that the HSP springs might make the difference. Do you guys think they will improve ride quality on the track or would it be a waste? (also, i'm not sellin' the SCRAM, gonna keep it and give it to the girlfriend to ride w/ me) thanks for the helps
