what does the H.O. mean in the 05 Sportsman 500?

the polaris is a very nice machine smooth ride and power you need like a cadilliac... lol the suzuki vinson is another nice belt driven 500 its a little bit quicker but has less ground clearence cheaper stock tires no diff locker and no IRS (independent rear suspension)

The HO means 'High Output'.....but when they first came out in I think 2000 or 2001, I bought the standard version. I rode them at the dealer side-by-side and went with the regular model because it felt like it had more low-end torque, the HO definitely had more top end. The regular version was also cheaper....
