I own a trailboss and love it. It is, in my opinion, a better value then the Trailblazer. You get a very durable 325cc moter for around $3500. Thats an awesome deal! Don't get me wrong, the Trail Blazer is an great value as well.

However, your username is Quadracer4 and you really like the Scramblers. The two will handle all terain about the same. If you do not need to tow or do other ultility work like plow, I would go with the Trailblazer. They look sharp and the $300 you save over the Trail Boss can get you a pipe and clutch kit or some trick Aluminum wheels!

Quadracer

Both are great machines. It all comes down to whether you like a 2cycle or not. I personnally don't care for the noise they make and went with the tboss. But if the 2cycle does not bother you, get the trailblazer for less money.

I had a boss and traded it for a trailblazer if you like to jump and just have a sporter ride go with the blazer it jumps and handles much better. Or you could just buy a used sport and have a much faster ride

I find myself in a similar situation as you Quadracer. I have never been an all out speed monger, but I like to hang with the guys on the faster quads. My dad recently agreed to buy my '96 Xplorer 300 4x4, and I have been shopping for a couple weeks.

I like the Trail Boss for the 4 stroke reliability...but I like the Trailblazer for being light and the wealth of aftermarket parts for it.

We shall see how this turns out.

Save your money and get the Scrambler. You say that you like mud. The 500 4x4 loses very little because of the extra weight.

Today, my 500 4x4 beat a SC400 2x4 in both a 100 yard dash, and aprox 1/8th mile run. The 400 was closing in at the end of the run, but excuses don't count, and the 500 4x4 still won.

Now Indy has a good point. Let the bank have fun with your money while you wait an extra year to get your ride. LOL

NO WAY. Do your homework and get the best machine that you can afford and go ride! That is what it is all about.

Finance it if you have to, just get what you will be happy with. Don't "settle". Get the one you want.

325 has a good point also. Get what you can afford, be unhappy with it, sell it a month later for $500 less than you paid for it. Been there. Not agian.
