we use our 98 sp500 with a 60" polaris blade. that thing has no problem pushing snow whatsoever. it'll keep pushin even when snow is coming over the top its so deep. only time it wouldn't push was when there was about an 1" of ice in top of the snow and on the ground. then it wouldn't break the ice it'd just spin.

Hi snowmann...I am right above you up here in New Brunswick....you will have no trouble with the 500 ho and that plow set up...In fact i hated doing the drive with my snowblower...now I am like a kid out there moving snow all over the place with my plow...who thought snow removal could be FUN !!

I have a Glacier Plow System with 48" blade on my 04.5 SP500 HO and it does a great job of plowing. The only thing I want to change with the setup is to add a weight bar. As stated, others here run the 60" and have no problems.

No problem, I have plowed up to 23 inches of wet snow with my old trail boss 350 4x4. That is with 48 in blade
