I would do all of my business with HPD(www.hpd-inc.com) or Rick Ritter(he is on here)(think his site is www.rittercycle.com/polaris.htm) Also if you want the info from someone on here who is pretty good, talk to a man called BigBadScrambler......he is very knowledgable about the scrammy and modding it.

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

Find the pipe you want first then worry about rejetting.I went with a White Bros E serries and didnt need rejetting even with a K&N filter. The motors on a 500HO are awsome if you can unleash the power.Main thing is your clutching.Decide what you want and let us know. You know how you ride and what you want out of your quad.I like a low engagment with fast shiftout along with instant back shifts.I am set up for tight trails and hills. Now BBS is set up differant than I am and he can tell you what his setup is like.

My clutch is setup to engage at about 2200 RPM. Kinda hairy on some real slow technical trails until you get the hang of it. But it also means INSTANT wheelies with no problem. I also run the HPD Powermaxx exhaust and air box/carb mod kit. Very pleased with both

lol i wish i could run my 250 at 2200 rpm adn get instant wheels. im at 3200 rpm adn still getting a bog when i hammer it. the power really starts to pull hard at a 4000. u ppl with 4 strokes are lucky that u dont have to run these super high engagments to get great repsonse. scott

Yeah, but look at how much more is available in the 2 stroke market and how much more $$$ is costs for us to go into the motor to make HP.
