Havent had the chance to "duel" the 800EFI against the 700EFI yet but the 800EFI pulls way harder than the 700EFI through out the powerband....... The new lights are great, way brighter for nite time driving and the rear work lights are a dream come true, shoulda had rear lights on Polaris's along time ago. The new rack in the front is awesome for storage, can fit a bunch of "stuff" in there such as extra gloves, digital camera, a lighter jacket, some extra tools if need be, a bottle of water, whatever you need pretty much!! The new duel exhaust isn't as noisy as I like but I'm sure somebody will have a cure for that soon besides what Polaris offers.. Yes it does pop wheelies when it hooks up very easily... I wish I had more time to ride the new beast but being a business owner really cuts down my riding time in the summer and fall. As you can see I own a few Polaris's and my dealer came through for me in hooking me up early with a 800EFI, my 800EFI was supposed to be my dealers "demo" 800EFI but when you slap some cash on the table funny how things turn out If your thinking about getting a 800EFI you wont be disappointed with it I hope. Hope this helps you guys.....

Oh ya, a nice new touch polaris added to all 05 sportsmen's models is that the electrical wiring for the winch is done at the factory now I'm not sure if the wiring is run through the frame or not but anyways it's hidden away nicely and so is the silenoid unlike old sportsmen's silenoid's that are exposed to the harsh elements of whatever your rear tires are goin through..... Also makes for a very quick install of a winch now, not that it was hard before but somebody at polaris was using their head when they though of that. I was told that the new wiring was for all sportsmen's models but i'm not sure if it's only for the 800EFI?
