i hear ya man , i am the same way you are, only difference is that you know what the hell your doing w/ your quad. Im still on my way, I want to start taking stuff apart , just so i know what is going on. I am many things, just never did mechincal things.
It will come though in time im sure. WHY cant kerry understand the 'big' picture !!!

LOL. Well, if you need any help or advice on it I will assist you as much as I can. These machines really arent as complicated as they seem. A little intimidating at first, but you will get the hang of it. And BTW, Kerry sucks!

hey could you post some more pics of yer install? id like to see how you mounted them to the handlebars. from what i can see,,, it looks like you bolted it to the dog bone?? cant tell fer sure...

also id like to see where the oil press. sensor is located.

I will get some more pics up in a few minutes. You are correct. I Simply bolted it to the handlebar clamp using the existing bolts. I trimmed up some of the excess material and had to enlarge the mounting holes slightly. But, I just simply straightened the mounting tab and bolted it on. I couldnt really get a good picture of the oil pressure fitting. It is a small 1/8" NPT plug in the front left side of the head, a few inches to the left of the header pipe. It is a 6mm(I believe) recessed allen head plug. And yes, I did strip it trying to get it out[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img] That is why it took a little longer than expected. It is easiest to remove the oil tank and coolant recovery tank to access it. Be sure you prime the oil pump after reinstalling it though.
